The cap is slipped over – the outer dimension counts.
2 · Inner dimension of the tube
Inner dimension = Outer − 2 × wall thickness. The plug sits inside the tube.
2 · Measure contact surface
Choose glides equal to or slightly smaller than the contact surface – never protruding.
