Catering & Office: Gliders for continuous use
Hundreds of chairs, thousands of sliding movements a day: In the commercial sector, gliders determine floor costs, noise levels, and maintenance effort. What catering, hotels, and offices must do differently than private households.
Continuous use changes material choice
In the dining area, it's not the individual price of a glider that counts, but its service life in operation. Mechanically fastened gliders (nail, screw) and form-fitting caps are standard here – pure adhesive solutions rarely withstand the commercial sliding rhythm. On hard floors, felt also noticeably reduces the noise level.
Maintenance as routine
Gliders are a predictable wear part in commercial settings. A fixed inspection rhythm has proven effective – for example, with deep cleaning: replace worn and dirty gliders before they damage the floor. Material comparison helps standardise to one or two glider types per seating arrangement.
Procurement: Tiered pricing and special sizes
From commercial quantities, tiered pricing and bulk orders pay off; for special seating, we manufacture individual sizes on request. Commercial customers receive their own conditions and a dedicated contact person after registration.
