Polyester needle felt: the proven standard

With needle felt, polyester fibres are mechanically needled into a dense, dimensionally stable fleece. The result is a uniform, hard-wearing material with a very good price-performance ratio – the right choice for most furniture in the home.

Wool felt: the natural fibre premium class

Wool felt is felted from pure virgin wool. The natural fibre is denser and more elastic: it absorbs impact, runs even quieter and retains its shape even under continuous load. Added to this is the sustainability of the renewable raw material – and a haptic quality that you can see and feel.

How to recognise quality

• Density: High-quality felt feels firm and can hardly be pressed in – loose felt quickly flattens out.
• Uniformity: The surface is even, without thin spots or loose fibres.
• Adhesive: A strong, solvent-free acrylic adhesive is part of the quality picture – the best felt is useless if it falls off.

When wool felt is worthwhile

Wherever smooth running and durability make the difference: under chairs used daily on delicate floors, in bedrooms and living rooms, with high-quality furniture where every detail should match. For rarely moved furniture, polyester needle felt is perfectly sufficient.
